The 9.15am services are at St Bridget's Chelvey and usually follow this format:
1st Sunday of the month - Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer - traditional language)
with a chance to share fellowship after the service over coffee
2nd Sunday of the month - Morning Worship (Common Worship - modern language)
3rd Sunday of the month - Morning Prayer - a more traditional style of service in modern language.
St Bridgets is a welcoming community of worshippers, smaller in number but rich in a vision to make St Bridgets a central and practical centre for the village of Chelvey. They have recently installed solar panels to play their part in caring for the environment and are currently planning a small building outside the church to offer practical facilities (a toilet and kitchen). All are welcomed to worship in this beautiful, ancient church.
